Going, Moving, Called? In Genesis 11:31 the Bible reads, "And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram's wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there." God CALLED Abram to GO to the land of Canaan and he MOVED in complete obedience to God! In the Bible this passage is a major move for Abram and his family. Abram "picked up sticks" and MOVED with God's guidance! Because of the MOVE, God used Abram in a mighty way!
What is God saying to us? Is God CALLING you to GO and MOVE to a Bible College, a seminary, or the mission field of the US or overseas? When God CALLS, we are to MOVE and GO with God's guiding hand. So many times in the Bible, God CALLED such as Moses, David, Jeremiah, and Isaiah to GO and as HE CALLED them to MOVE and bring His Word to others! Is God CALLING you? To others: God is challenging you to Go to a Bible-believing Church in your area; "not forsaking the assembling of your selves." Let's all agree to GO as God CALLS us to obey Him!
